Build and scale AI infrastructure that powers institutional-grade market research. You'll design and implement systems for tool-calling architectures, fine-tune models for domain-specific research tasks, and develop the next generation of our Generative R&D capabilities—turning market intelligence workflows into automated, statistically rigorous AI systems.

What you'll do

• —Design and implement production AI systems using tool-calling frameworks and agent architectures
• —Fine-tune and evaluate language models for research-specific tasks including survey programming, qualitative analysis, and statistical inference
• —Build infrastructure for our Generative R&D platform—including experiment design, behavioral data collection, and causal inference pipelines
• —Develop prompt engineering frameworks and evaluation harnesses that ensure institutional-grade output quality
• —Collaborate with research methodologists to translate domain expertise into AI capabilities
• —Optimize model performance, latency, and cost across production workloads serving enterprise customers

What we're looking for

• —Strong foundation in mathematics, physics, statistics, or related quantitative field
• —3+ years experience building production AI/ML systems with modern LLMs
• —Deep expertise in tool use, function calling, and agentic architectures
• —Experience fine-tuning models and evaluating performance on domain-specific tasks
• —Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, Transformers, LangChain, or similar)
• —Track record of shipping AI products that solve real business problems
• —Comfort with statistical methods and experimental design
